Position Summary:

The Senior Creative Traffic AE proactively manages all daily creative deadlines and oversees all Traffic Specialists under the supervision of the Creative Operations Senior Manager. The Senior Creative Traffic AE ensures that creative assets are being built, approved and delivered to the appropriate publication and/or external vendors as scheduled. He or she will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams as well as third party vendors to ensure deadlines are consistently met.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

List the 8-10 key areas of responsibility in descending order, with the responsibility requiring the most amount of time first.  Use specific action verbs such as “manages”, “analyzes”, “files”, etc.

 

 

  • Manage Traffic Specialists and ensure they are providing departments with status updates and key deliverables
  • Manage Marketing Executives’ strategies and creative executions
  • Manage Marketing Executives’ promotional timelines
  • Analyze data and pinpoint challenges and trends within the department to then drive business goals and creative development
  • Manage the implementation of Launch’s new project management tool
  • Train new team members and department management on workflow process and Wrike tool
  • Manage departments’ project scopes, determine needed resources and coordinate work assignments to creative team
  • Partner with Account Executives and department managers to establish project timelines and priorities and communicate those to the creative team
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to understand project objectives and assist them in meeting the goals
  • Responsible for the day-to-day job trafficking to appropriate resources by communicating daily with the Creative Operations Senior Manager
  • Proactively keep department requestors abreast of issues and seek clarification on any conflicting priorities
  • Evaluate and update internal systems to reflect shifting workload and initiatives
  • Support Creative Services in delivering files to printer and/or external vendors as needed
  • Support Account Executive team with communication to the field and job management, as needed
  • Manage monthly and quarterly team productivity reports
  • Share monthly and quarterly reports with department leadership

Financial Responsibilities

List any responsibilities for budget, expenses and/or achievement of revenue targets in US Dollars.

Partner with Creative Manager(s), Production Manager(s) and Executive Creative Director to stick within specified budgets for projects.


Qualifications:

List the minimum level of education and experience required to perform the work at the entry level of the job.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field experience
  • Experience with print/media/digital advertising
  • Minimum 5 years agency and/or in-house traffic experience required
  • Experience working with Filemaker and/or Wrike preferred
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple assignments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of Creative Suite a plus
  • Able to provide recommendations for streamlining processes and systems based on previous experience.
