Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Platform Architect to lead high-priority platform implementation projects within a dynamic Technology team. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, solution architects, and marketing specialists, to drive digital customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in industry trends, marketing automation, and digital marketing technologies, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery efforts to understand client business needs for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client businesses and available data for effective platform solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for platform configuration, data schemas, and system integrations.
  • Oversee platform configuration and development of digital marketing campaigns across channels.
  • Provide support to development teams working on platform integrations
  • Create Architecture and Technical specifications documents.
  • Act as the day-to-day technical platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and client teams.
  • Manage workflow and deadlines for multiple platform-related projects in collaboration with the project management team.
  • Support senior team members in project estimation and Marketing Technology platform discovery/roadmapping engagements.
  • Assist the internal execution services team in ongoing platform and schema optimizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with Adobe Journey Optimizer, with 1 year specifically in Journey Optimizer, leading 3+ platform implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Journey Optimizer tasks: Channel Surfaces, Data Sources, Events, Actions, Audience Definition, Decision Management, etc
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer certification preferred.
  • Experienced data modeler with proficiency in JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS, and responsive email coding is a plus
  • Agency experience preferred, with 2+ years in a client-facing role and knowledge of agency structures and agile project management.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing processes, audience segmentation, legal compliance, and campaign analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with various marketing automation platforms and marketing cloud solutions is a plus (Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo, etc.).
