Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test
The Senior Software QA Engineer is energetic, enthusiastic, and excited about working on small teams,
who enjoys taking ownership of their work and introduce new technology ideas. This position requires
an experienced self-starter that could work independently as well as in collaboration with others.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test application.
• Lead test design reviews.
• Work closely with software development team and other internal customers.
• Maintain and create new automated test cases.
• Mentor junior software engineers
• Accountable for the overall quality of the software solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem solving and software debugging skills
• Extensive object-oriented design & development experience.
• Solid understanding & practical experience of Agile SDLC
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, Mocha, and REST API testing
• Solid understanding of web application development.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
• Ability to work with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Math or Physics with a minimum of 8 years related
experience or a master’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years related.

• Strong development experience in Java, C# or C++
• Experience in designing and developing automated software test applications.
• Experience in developing and executing test cases.
• Previous experience with Groovy, Grails, Geb is desirable.
• Exposure to unit test tools-Junit, NUnit, QUnit is preferred.
• Previous working experience in the POS retail industry is preferred.
• Experience with Android Studio, Linux and communication protocols (RS232, USB, TCP/IP) is desirable
