ENGINEERING ARCHITECTS – Data Architect Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced data modelers with a background in SQL, ETL, and development to define new data schemas and manage data ingestion for customers utilizing Adobe Experience Platform. This role involves direct interaction with enterprise customers and collaboration with internal teams.

What You’ll Do

– Interface with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and make recommendations
– Lead project conference calls or interface with a Project Manager
– Deliver Technical Specifications documents for customer review
– Collaborate closely with team software engineer consultants onshore and offshore
– Utilize understanding of data relationships and schemas to structure data for dynamic customer-level analysis
– Develop processes to build Customer ID mapping files for a comprehensive 360-degree customer view across data sources
– Use scripting languages to automate key processes governing data movement, cleansing, and processing activities
– Bill and forecast time toward customer projects
– Innovate on new ideas to address customer needs

Requirements

– 3+ years of strong experience with data transformation and ETL on large data sets
– Experience designing customer-centric datasets (e.g., CRM, Call Center, Marketing, Offline, Point of Sale)
– 3+ years of Data Modeling experience (e.g., Relational, Dimensional, Columnar, Big Data)
– 3+ years of complex SQL or NoSQL experience
– Knowledge of advanced Data Warehouse concepts
– Experience with industry ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Unifi)
– Experience in Business Requirements definition and management, structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation
– Experience with Reporting Technologies (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
– Experience in professional software development
– Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task across different customer projects
– Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with the Sales team and lead customers to successful outcomes
– Must be self-managed, proactive, and customer-focused
– Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field

Special Consideration Given For

– Experience and knowledge with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
– Experience and knowledge in Digital Analytics or Digital Marketing
– Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or Bash scripting)
– Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, Hive, Pig)
– Experience as an enterprise technical or engineer consultant
